Tokers on the Top Floor
February 24th, 2006We periodically receive notes from the manager slipped through our doors informing us of upcoming events and of problems that tennants and the staff may be having with the behaviour of other tennants. Usually these are somewhat humorous. The humor is generally not found in the content of the letter, but rather in the manager’s complete disregard for spelling and language use conventions. However, this was not the case today.
Here is an excerpt from the letter we received in our doors today:
We frequently get letters informing us that certain tennants are putting things on their balconies that are not allowed even though we have nothing on our balcony. Most of these letters are delivered to every tennant in the apartment complex, but this letter was only delivered to tennants in our building. I have never smelled the marijuana, so they must be on the other side of the building or far away. I have often heard people walking around after midnight, though. I just assumed the guy above us worked an evening shift and came home late. All I can say is that these issues haven’t bothered us at all.
Now if we can just keep people from leaving the bass turned up when they watch TV at one in the morning.

No way! Did everybody get this at your apartments or did you guys just get it?

Everyone in our building got it, so that’s 36 units. I imagine the management knows who it is based on where the complaints are coming from, but they can’t prove it so they just put it in everyone’s door.

Shawn I know how you can get rid of all those annoying late night walkers. Imagine, if you can. that they are Amtrak trains traveling through Orange County. Now, you are on the side of the tracks(at you front door) and as they pass by you moon them. It works for me, no one passes by my door anymore.
