Learn How To Make Money Using the Internet

Monday, October 16th, 2006

It’s difficult for most people to realize how easy it can be to use the Internet to make money. It’s not really so difficult once you know what to do and how to do it. The problem for most people is that they don’t have anything to sell and if they did, they wouldn’t know how to attract people to their website to sell it. The Information Product Creation Course is a five-hour course that shows you step-by-step how to turn your desire for Internet sales into a real money-making opportunity. This guy starts from scratch. He doesn’t even have an idea when he starts, but you will learn how to brainstorm and come up with a real winner.

After he gets the idea he needs to get going he shows what tools to use to bring your idea to like online. He goes over choosing and registering a domain as well as how to effectively advertise your new product’s website. You don’t need anything fancy to do all of this. If you have access to the Internet, Windows, and a web browser then you are literally in business. I can’t wait to get started myself. Get started today and watch as you earn money while you sleep!

Video of People Using Wii for the First Time

Monday, October 16th, 2006

Nintendo added new video recently of people playing games on the Wii for the very first time. It looks like these people probably wouldn’t play video games on their own normally, but they are having a lot of fun with the Wii. Unfortunately they use Flash 8 for the videos. It’s not their fault, but Linux users are out of luck viewing these. Watching these videos, though, made me even more excited for the Wii release.

Network Firewall Security Analysis Tools

Monday, October 16th, 2006

Most firewall security analysis tools either look at past activity and warn you about what has already happened in the past or they look at your current settings by hammering the network with tons of packets and telling you about the results. AlgoSec takes a different approach. They analyze your network’s settings and run simulations without sending a single packet over the network. They then warn you about possible future breaches of security so you can fix them before someone exploits them.

Sustain’d is Digg.com for Mormons

Sunday, October 15th, 2006

The LDS community online is huge and growing every day. Digg.com is a social news website where the users decide which stories are the most interesting and decide what news stories and links make it to the front page. Sustaine’d applies this same thinking to track stories submitted by Latter-day Saints. When you like a story you can sustain it, if you don’t like it then you can oppose it. When the story gets enough sustaining votes it shows up on the home page. It looks like I have yet another site to check every day.

Keep in Touch with your Local Music Scene

Sunday, October 15th, 2006

There is some excellent music that never gets any national attention. When I was in High School one of my favorite bands was Jerry Lives Twice. They only ever made one album. They never made it big, and they broke up at the end of high school. Now there is a place to track all of the little bands and find out when and where they’re playing. Find out more about your local bands at Loud Is Relative, a brand new site dedicated to showcasing the little guy.

Geocaching Equipment from Currys

Saturday, October 14th, 2006

If you’ve read much on this blog then you would know how much I love geocaching. GPS technology has always fascinated me. It’s positively amazing that you can have a tiny little device receiving information from multiple satellites in orbit around the Earth. Geocaching is a lot of fun, but I really would like to know where I’m going while I’m in the car and sync that up with a map. I was able to get a lot of information about GPS and sat nav from currys, a large online retailer of satellite navigation equipment. Whether you are looking for a TomTom Go or a good old Garmin like what I’ve got, they’ve got you covered. Give them a try and see what you find.
